What I set up for ceramics studios

I build it myselfWe test it together
Amin

I'm Amin. I live in Amsterdam, I come from tech, and I build these tools myself. For over four years I have run my own language platform, DailyNata, and I built its sign-ups, payments and reports.

  1. 1We go through it together, at your studio in Amsterdam or on a short call.
  2. 2You get a fixed price in writing before I build anything.
  3. 3I build it, we test it with real bookings, and every account stays in your name.

Workshops filling up

A company asks about a team workshop for twelve people. It takes five emails to settle a date and a price, and in between they book somewhere else.

People book and pay in a few clicks, and you see weeks ahead which workshops are filling.

  • Group and company requests get a ready reply with dates and prices, which you approve with one tap.
  • People book and pay online in a few clicks.
  • One screen shows bookings per workshop, weeks ahead.

People coming back

Someone enjoys a workshop, says they want to do the course, and never hears from you again.

We turn one workshop into the next booking.

  • After a workshop, people hear about the course that fits, with a link to book.
  • Members and course students get a personal link to the next round before this one ends.
  • A short feedback form goes out after each workshop.

Payments and numbers in one place

Membership payments, studio hours and kiln firings live in three places, and someone checks by hand who has paid.

I connect the tools you have, so the numbers come to you.

  • Membership payments and studio hours run themselves.
  • We work out what a workshop really costs, clay and firing included, so you can decide the price.
  • We plan the quiet months ahead of time.

How it works

After we go through it, you get a proposal with a fixed price, before you decide anything. It depends on how much there is to build and on what you already have in place. I build it myself, we test it together as it takes shape, and I keep working until it runs the way we agreed.

A first step, for example: online booking and payment for your workshops, set up and tested with real bookings. Every account stays in your name, and afterwards you run it without me. If something breaks in the first month after handover, I fix it as part of the price. When it is finished, you get a short guide in plain words on how it works. If you prefer to be shown, I walk you and whoever helps you through it, in person or on a call.

We work in English, and what I build is in your language.

Would you like to go through it together?

Reply to my email, or write to amin@onwardsteps.com. In Amsterdam I come by your studio, and anywhere else we talk on a short call. The first conversation costs nothing.
