How it works
You pick a time on my calendar and we spend an hour on how your business is going. Sessions are in English, in Amsterdam or online.
The first hour is free. I ask a lot of questions, repeat back what you told me, and point out where things do not add up. You leave with something useful whether or not you come back.
We go through the areas you picked in the check on the homepage and see what can be improved, and in what order. If you skipped the check, we do it together in the hour. Afterwards you decide whether to continue, with three sessions or six.
We take one thing from your list, finish it, then move to the next. Sessions are every week or two, with a check-in from me before each one. If a session no longer suits you, let me know 24 hours before and we move it.
Between sessions
Most people leave a good conversation motivated and change nothing. I have done it myself. So the follow-up is built in rather than left to you.
There is no check-in after the free hour. Check-ins come with the paid packages.
What we work on
Accountants will not talk about direction and most coaches will not talk about money or tools. In a small creative business they are the same problem, so we do all of it.
What to do this year and what to stop doing.
Who buys your work, where they are, and how to reach them.
What the work is worth, how to say the number, and what to do when someone pushes back.
Asking to be paid, following up, negotiating. There is usually one that is costing you money.
The hours every week that go into bookings, payments, emails and spreadsheets. I have built this side of my own business, so we can look at what could be joined up, and what you could stop doing by hand.
Worth knowing
If you mainly want encouragement, I am not the right person. I will tell you what I think, including when I think a plan will not work.
It also does not work if you will not do anything between sessions. I can hold you to a task, but I cannot do it for you.
