What I set up for dance schools

I build it myselfWe test it together
Amin

I'm Amin. I live in Amsterdam, I come from tech, and I build these tools myself. For over four years I have run my own language platform, DailyNata, and I built its sign-ups, payments and reports.

  1. 1We go through it together, at your school in Amsterdam or on a short call.
  2. 2You get a fixed price in writing before I build anything.
  3. 3I build it, we test it with real bookings, and every account stays in your name.

Students coming back

The block ends on Thursday. Some students will come to the next level and some will not, and you find out who when the first class of the new block starts.

Before a block ends, the next one is already filling.

  • Every student gets a personal link to the next level before the block ends, with dates and price.
  • They confirm and pay there, with the payment options you already offer.
  • One screen shows who is coming back and who has not answered, so you know who to nudge.

New dancers signing up

Someone comes to a trial class, enjoys it and leaves. Nobody asks whether they want to sign up, and a week later they have forgotten.

We make it easy to say yes right after the trial.

  • People book a trial class online and get a reminder the day before.
  • After the trial, a message arrives with the next start date and the link to sign up.
  • When a class is full, people join a waiting list and hear when a place opens.

Payments and numbers in one place

Payments for courses, memberships and workshops sit in different places, and someone checks by hand who has paid for what.

I connect the tools you have, so the numbers come to you.

  • One screen shows sign-ups and income per class, and it updates itself.
  • We work out what a class really costs, so you can decide the price.
  • We plan the quiet summer months ahead, with workshops, private lessons or wedding dances.

How it works

After we go through it, you get a proposal with a fixed price, before you decide anything. It depends on how much there is to build and on what you already have in place. I build it myself, we test it together as it takes shape, and I keep working until it runs the way we agreed.

A first step, for example: the next-level invitation for one block, set up and tested with your students. Every account stays in your name, and afterwards you run it without me. If something breaks in the first month after handover, I fix it as part of the price. When it is finished, you get a short guide in plain words on how it works. If you prefer to be shown, I walk you and whoever helps you through it, in person or on a call.

We work in English, and what I build is in your language.

Would you like to go through it together?

Reply to my email, or write to amin@onwardsteps.com. In Amsterdam I come by your school, and anywhere else we talk on a short call. The first conversation costs nothing.
